25 Nov 2004 - National Higher Level Teaching Assistant Success
During the Summer Term 2004, Mrs Lucy Corbett successfully completed Tranche 1 of the National Higher Level Teaching Assistant training (HLTA). This required her to participate in a training programme relating to classroom management skills associated with Literacy, Numeracy, Behaviour and Attendance and Learning Support for small groups of pupils.
The HLTA role is a key element of the Implementations Plan associated with the National Workforce Reform Agenda. Pauline Clark (Chair of Lifelong Learning County Council Committee) presented Mrs Corbett her award in June 2004.
